This guy pleading guilty is crap. I wouldn't accept a plea deal for insane political corruption like this. You use the promise of a very length trial and sentence to get them to talk in exchange for a plea deal. They either didn't try this or the guy wouldn't budge.
Also I imagine your comment was about how EVERYONE got an immunity deal with Hillary's servers, and therein lies the obvious scam that was Comey's FBI. It has been said that he was offered a plea deal and is cooperating with the investigation. My point is that he is being used to catch bigger fish, and they didn't need to offer immunity. They offered a lesser punishment and to me this is a good thing. They had him on a higher charge of altering a federal document, 18 USC 1519, which carries a punishment of up to 20 years. He is cooperating and was offered a plea deal of 18 USC 1001, which carries a punishment of up to 5 years.
