The businesses need to sue the city and state! The customers need to ENCOURAGE the businesses to sue, through negative feedback and BAD REVIEWS (especially) online. The businesses are afraid of being litigated against because of A VIRUS. It is absolutely absurd to try holding a business legally responsible for A VIRUS, due to a refusal to require the use of a device that is SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN ineffective in preventing the spread of a virus. None of this is reasonable. All of it is a POWER GRAB on a deeply personal level. This must be openly and aggressively communicated to individuals and businesses from now on.
Whatever it takes! Do whatever it takes. Defy. Dissent. Speak up. Do it REPEATEDLY, and endlessly, even when someone is telling you they already know and it's already been done. If Americans don't draw the line of actual control at their own damn noses, they will never draw that line anywhere.

Face masks are not the biggest fish we have to fry. Depending on how things are being enforced, that may not be worth the penalties to face or the effort to fight, simply because there are MUCH bigger things that deserve that energy.
