The guy knows the game. With only 4 years practical experience (I realize he's studied for decades,) he's showing how poorly politicians have run our country for longer than I've been alive and how they just don't know how to execute like they think they do. He's better than all of em and now, we the people know what we should expect from politicians. Including transparency to where our tax dollars are spent specifically....which is one of primary importance to at least me.
What I mean is, he shows with this donation that the monuments are bigger and more important than giving America's tax money to states / cities to rebuild what they've let run to shambles by their own hands. The monuments are separate and if governors *were to be eventually (through a solid, Trump-driven deal) granted tax payer money, they wouldn't use it to rebuild the monuments anyway.
