But yes; slavery should be vilified, which is why we (whites) stood up against it. Even some of the people who fought on the other side didn't believe in slavery, but fought due to family or because of simply where they lived.
That goes for slavery today. Slavery intrinsically goes against what America stands for, and is immutably unconstitutional. If there is any American today that is pro-slavery, they're entitled to their opinions but this is an opinion that is wrong because it is at odds with what our country is and always strived to be.
Now as for the Nazi-related stuff, Yawnz13 is exactly right.
The left labels everyone that isn't strictly hard, radical left as Nazis. But they tear down statues of people who actually fought against Nazis, while accusing them of being racist Nazis.
