The Electoral college ensures a minimum representation of 2 senators and one representative, everything above the district size of about 770,000 population gets another representative...the reason the lose is because rather than winning each state by 51%, they pile into 320 metropolitan cities and expect that to count for more than the other 19,000 cities. They literally do not care about states away from the coast, or that do not have large cities because dense metropolitan cities are what facilitate group think, identity politics, critical race theory, and dependency on social welfare programs.
