I wanted to take a moment to throw together a little thread that hopefully, someone in the campaign might find to show the President. News broke recently that the President's brother fell ill. It is never easy watching as family members fall sick, or dealing with any serious illnesses or injury. But imagine for a moment being the leader of the free world. You are constantly under assault by the media. Lies are spread about you daily, which slander and tarnish your reputation and degrade your name. Politicians and intelligence agencies worked together to create the Russia Hoax to pin you as an Unamerican Putin puppet...
Your one respite is being able to hold rallies, where you are reminded on a consistent basis that the people who elected you still love and appreciate you regardless of the treasure trove of bullshit you have to deal with. Now due to the COVID 19 garbage, you can't even have that...
Our president has dealt with more bogus crap than any elected official in modern history CHANGE MY MIND. So tonight, I want all of you to take this thread and tell him what you appreciate about him. What do you appreciate about his family? What has he done that has positively impacted you, or your family? At what point in time did you become a supporter and what made you realize he was the right man for the job? How has the past 4 years benefited your life, and how has Trump been responsible?
This summer has sucked ass thanks to the fabricated virus panic. But lets take our notoriously high energy and give our President some love!
What gave me this idea you ask? Well today Rudy Giuliani gave one of the greatest speeches I have seen in some time. I highly encourage everyone to watch the whole event, but for those of you with time constraints Here is Rudy's portion. Rudy absolutely knocked the ball out of the park. Trump spent the overwhelming majority of his time thanking the NYPD and reminding them that the American people still stand with our police, and those putting their lives on the line for us every day. I think we should return him the favor.
For those of you that are religious, please keep Robert Trump in your prayers. For those of you that aren't... find god you heathens..... I kid. But seriously, take a moment to wish his brother well and lets show Trump that he has millions of hard working Americans that stand with him, support him, and appreciate all the shit he has sustained over the last 4 years.

Can confirm. Never made a conscious decision just stopped drinking when I had a child and because I drive a lot. Have never missed it. Indeed the few occasions I’ve had a drink of alcohol it’s made me feel really rubbish afterwards.

I'm actually doing fairly well, all things considered. I'm getting unemployment for the first time in my life (which I consider fair, since as an "independent contractor" I've always paid taxes, yet always been ineligible for unemployment when out of work.)

Seriously, thanks for the inspiration. I drink more than is good for me, although a little less lately, which is good. I'm glad to see so many pedes throwing off that monkey.

I envy people who can drink responsibly, I have good intentions but can't do it- after that first drink I'm unstoppable until I incapacitate myself. This is also one of the reasons why I have little social life, I have no patience dealing with people who are similarly self-destructive and have no awareness of how their bad behavior affects others.

It took a long time of observing binge-drinkers not remembering the damage they wrought, and much frustration in trying to reason with them- before realizing I was there myself. Obviously, you can't reason with a drunk or an addict about the realities- because they honestly are not aware of what they've done in a state of blackout, and this is why they are so invested in their denial.
In my case, the difference was: when I realized I was also so far gone I wasn't remembering everything, I cut myself off for good and stopped drinking immediately. It took waking up with obvious bruises/abrasions etc to realize it, but I needed that level of physical evidence to sell me on it. Unfortunately, I know far too many people who either can't accept similar (or more serious) warning signs, or disregard them, proudly embracing their eventual fate and gleefully inflicting it on others.
Seeing so many people divorced, going to jail, unprovoked rudeness and violence, so much unnecessary failure... eventually it was obvious that binge-drinking was an undeniable factor in most of these cases. When I discovered I was closer to that than I realized, it was very easy to make the decision to avoid drinking, before any of that happened to me.
I can imagine it must be tough to deal with others who have not experienced what you have. I know other sober folks who have similar experiences. God bless you pede. Keep on trucking.

It is difficult, and as I've mentioned elsewhere: even more so with people who are faced with the evidence that their screw-ups are affecting others, and proudly stay the course of failure. I've known far too many alcoholics/addicts who know fully well that their misbehavior is bad for their friends/family and their life situation, but refuse to consider that they could take action to improve things.
Much like trying to enlighten/inform the never-Trump Leftist types who are so MSM-indoctrinated they can't handle cognitive dissonance, it is a waste of time and energy to attempt to help many problem drinkers/addicts. I find it a better use of my time/energy to persuade people who have the capacity to be persuaded, like drinkers who have not yet let binge-drinking control their lives, or let TDS control their brains.
Yes. Go for the ones who aren't too far gone. Myself included - I need to cut back. It's getting easier to do.

The thing I most appreciate about our beloved President Trump is his willingness to STAND UP AGAINST evil and corruption! He's done many fantastic things for our country, but this is the one sticks out to me the most because I didn't even realize it was a need I - and all of us - had.
I truly believe our freedoms, our country, and our very way of life hangs in the balance. Had he not been elected, had he bowed to the deep state's pressures, had he not had the strength to stand alone against them, we would all be suffering devastating losses of freedom, economic security, family, and our culture as a country.

I was basically a leftist until Trump showed up.
I mindlessly laughed and mocked Trump when he announced his run for President. An article on CNN told me I should see which of my Facebook friends had “liked” his page, and block them. I logged on and did this—I found the friends who had liked his page, and was “disgusted”...but didn’t block anyone.
When I started watching his speeches, something inside me awakened. I realized I had been programmed—my mind wasn’t my own, as far as politics were concerned.
I saw the lies of the MSM for the first time.
I realized America had been sold out for decades. I’m a Canadian—I used to have a very strong “anti-American” sentiment...but it all went out the window. Trump is the leader of the free world, and, even though I’m Canadian: HE IS MY PRESIDENT.

Putting LeGend Taliferro's killer behind bars yesterday was maybe the best news I have heard all year! It's often said he does it for free. It's more than that. He gave up his successful businesses and brand. He gave up the posh lifestyle of parties, handshakes, and ass kissing. He did this at cost to him both financially and personally. He should be living up his later years comfortably and stress-free.
He's been slandered, attacked, threatened, vilified, and plotted against. He takes it all with the strength most men couldn't bear. He perseveres through each onslaught with strength and grace, never once losing his cool.
He had everything a man could want, and he gave it up to save our country from certain demise. He may not solve all the problems but he will place us all on the path to prosperity. And it's up to us to continue to expect greatness from any and every president from here forward.

I'm Canadian (Alberta) and it's a damn shame I can't vote for Donald Trump. I grew up knowing little about this man, other than he was a rich TV personality. His 2016 run not only made me aware of his character, but it showed me how corrupt and insane the world truly is behind the curtains.

Trump made me really care about politics again. I've played the devil's advocate time and time again with myself, and in my mind, we would never have been able to make it this far if president Trump didn't love America and love US.
This is the first time in my life that I feel like the president actually loves this country and wants it to succeed. That simple notion had been enough to inspire me to not only improve my own life, but to want to improve this country as well. Before Trump I was a 'lowercase L libertarian' watching from the sidelines. Now I am an all caps MAGA Patriot actively involved in getting Trump another 4 years in the Whitehouse.
