Went thru Dutch Bros coffee drive thru today (AZ). They have a sign IN A FUCKING DRIVE THRU that said, “Join us and Mask Up”. I start looking around at all of the cars and at least 70% of people IN THEIR FUCKING CARS had masks on. So the guy in front of me has one on, license plate from OR with a Sun Devils pitchfork decal on his back window in his mid 40’s gets his coffees and I grab mine and we meet up at the traffic light exiting the establishment. Dude took his mask off. So, he wore his mask in his car in a drive thru to appease the staff and their sign. I just laughed out loud looking over at him and saying “Such a fag.” Moral of the story is sure, it’s easy to get mad and at first I was definitely agitated but in the end I sipped my Iced Mocha breve and laughed my ass off knowing I am not alone friends.

I love going to the grocery store ready for conflict because I'm not wearing a mask. It's great.
I'm the only one without it usually now when I go to the grocery store. it feels surreal. So dehumanizing seeing all this. The worst part is knowing everyone else knows its bs too but they're willing to live the lie.

I have been stuck "working" from home for 4 months now, and while we live in a deep red area with almost zero mask nazis and such. I am still feeling very much on edge about losing my shit when I got out in public.
We have meetings with the schools next week and I can feel it will not take much for me to go off if provoked and if there are liberals anywhere in this county its in the school system.
