Look how you talk: "phase 2 trials have shown this is not the case." So, according to you, the individuals in the phase 2 trials are representative of every single individual in the country. I'm pretty sure the individuals in the phase 2 trials didn't go into a phase 2 trial with an autoimmune disease, for example.
What happens when someone has an allergic reaction to the foreign spike proteins that are now handily being made inside the cells of his body?
You generally don't give vaccines to the immunocompromised or people with other complicating factors. Generally, you would ask your doctor if it was okay.
And you answer to what happens? You probably feel shitty for a few days. Same as if you have an adverse reaction to other vaccines, like Gardasil for HPV. Generally not a real concern, because those kinds of reactions are so rare.
I did not realize vaccines were such an issue. I'm glad that we were able to get rid of polio and small pox when we could, good golly, you guys.
If anyone wants to actually look at the data or report a vaccine injury, go to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System link at the top of this reply.
Be educated before you take a stance. Turns out most vaccines, like everything else, are fine in moderation. But, it is your body, your choice. Make it a good one.
The problem with discussions about Covid and especially vaccines is that immunology is incredibly complex and it is extremely difficult to simplify it because there is no good analogy for a lot of the interactions that happen.
An autoimmune disease is a condition where your body mistakes its own proteins as foreign and mounts an immune response. “Auto” means “self” in this case. The vaccine creates an immune response to foreign proteins.
I cannot answer the allergy question as easily because there’s a lot of complexity here that has to be unpackaged, but the straightforward answer is that a different branch of the immune system causes allergy attacks. That’s not the branch that these vaccines stimulate.

Oh wow. Gardasil has absolutely horrendous side effects, including primary ovarian failure and death.
There is a database for reported vaccine reactions that experts estimate only contain 1-5% of total reactions.
You cannot sure manufacturers for faulty products, and injuries must go through a secret court that has paid billions in damages.
Vaccine reactions can be deadly and ruin lives. The safety trials for vaccines are abysmal if you actually sit down and read them.
