25+ hours. no one has broken the one-day barrier.

most amazing thing is that he mostly did it without help. and was almost caught, twice. every other record has been done by a team of 2 or 3 people. of course, his was during pandemic, but i'm still hella impressed

I'm pretty sure burt reynolds did it in 95 minutes back in 81, and a slower time of 108 minutes in 84
