Nixon was looking at implementing it, so was Milton Friedman. AOC called it a libertarian Trojan horse and she’s kind of right. It’s more libertarian than socialist in my opinion.

Instead of using taxes for giant inefficient government programs and growing the governments wealth, you give a good bit directly to the citizens. He also had a plan of a tax option where people can vote on where some of their taxes go. He also successfully sued the state of New York for trying to cancel the primary election.

Too bad he went full dem establishment supporter.
