That's what I'm referring to. If I right click in MacOS the OS get's first dibs - I have to be near the timeline for the YT CSS to notice. And that's just for Safari.
I haven't checked it on elementaryOS, Ubuntu or Mint yet. Nor Opera, Firefox, Chrome or Epiphany.
The point is different desktops and browsers will give different priority levels in the UX behavior path. The solution for 'everyone' is to recommend the default path first. The secondary path exists but it can be 'clunky'.
You sure 'bout that? Steam is very VERY heavy into Linux support. Look for the steam badge next to the windows and apple/mac badge. That's Linux.
Steam also provides a wine fork they call 'Proton' which has been tested with their top selling AAA Windows games. My entire Steam library will run linux-native and a few titles I'm interested in (at the moment) which are Windows-only have top proton compatibility ratings.
It's easy on a desktop.

PS : This is my fave OS at the moment. Good God it's clean. It's slated to be my mainstay for my upcoming Atari VCS config.
I might give that a shot, but my Steam & GOG crap only runs on Bilm Gates demon child.

I'll check it out later. If stuff fails (i.e., install packages failing), it means sticking with Win-does-it-all for gaming.
