The fact that it's even remotely controversial to criticize these shithead "protests" shows what a clown world we're living in.

Yep. The first cop car smashed in Atlanta was a thug with a skateboard after an hour or so of "protestors" throwing shit at police officers guarding the CNN building. Then all hell broke loose.

I'm sure they skateboard a little in their off time too.

I only saw one skateboard. People in Chicago use skateboards to get around. Ask Tim Pool.

You have no idea of the motives or other extracurricular activities of this individual outside of rioting.

Don't be a fucking retard. The skateboard is a designated Anti-Fa weapon of choice. For one, you can get the fuck out of there quickly with a skateboard and it's an effective weapon that most courts/judges won't view as harshly as having a gun, knife, metal pipe, or baseball bat. That's the most important part- at of times they've able to skate (pun intended) on assault charges instead of aggravated assault charges. So, misdemeanor vs felony.

_alxl_ [S] -4 points ago +3 / -7

Calling me a retard while you're the one making claims of knowing their motives and hobbies.

So many people with psychic abilities around here lol.

1
Mexicola1976 1 point ago +2 / -1

Look it up dummy. It's their weapon of choice and it's not a coincidence you see skateboards everywhere at the riots.

I never once claimed otherwise. It seems you're arguing with a character in your head, not me.

What kind of person thinks this is a good idea? I’ve disagreed with the police before but never have I considered attacking them physically. How dumb are these protesters really.

They are rabid animals who were locked at home with Netflix propaganda and violent video games. No job, no money, no outlet for energy. They were pointed in a certain direction by the corrupt media and released to cause havoc.

You're lumping all police in together. That's what leftists do.

I have serious question, where the fuck are the patriotic Americans in Chicago? Its a big city and it seems like you would want to defend where you live. More than half of these protesting traitors are young women and soy boys. Not very formidable if some real men brought the fight to them. I'm serious here, my whole life Ive heard how tough Chicago is. What am I missing?

I have a connection with someone that works for a quasi governmental agency in Chicago that Chicago is a friggin ghost town the stores/diners/business' close up shop and ditty-mao, at 5:00pm.

Nothing but stew-bums and hardcore homeless on the streets after that.

Commuter train ridership is up to 10% of pre-lockdown from 3% at the start of the lockdown.

There are no "patriotic" Americans in Chicago, cause the smart ones are working from home and/or fleeing.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I had just watched a video and posted this and was pretty fired up. Your answer makes sense.

Chicago is a city of disgruntled non-White "Minorities", entitled illegal aliens, and soft White transplants - the Patriotic Chicagoans moved from Chicago long ago. Chicago is almost like another Detroit with a world class waterfront.

I live here. Honestly, there's no point in countering these guys for most of us. If I get arrested or doxxed, I lose my job. And get blacklisted from my industry. Storefronts get destroyed, but I have no pity for the store owners that are constantly virtue signalling. I do feel for the employees that lose their jobs bc of these idiots, but they need to speak up. And while I generally support CPD, they're not going to do shit for anyone protesting on their behalf, bc ultimately- they are beholden to the Mayor, not me. Not all cops are good, there are a lot of good ones here, but I've had issues in the past. I've nearly been hit more than a handful of times by cops just doing stupid shit driving- running stop signs, red lights, almost got hit by a cop, both on their phones rolling through a pedestrian crossing. I have a lot of friends that are cops that take their jobs very seriously as well, and I've gotten a lot of friendly warnings from cops that could have given me a ticket. And one officer saved my life. But I'm not sticking my neck out. I don't have a police union to defend me. I do have a crooked AG that has a litany if oppressive laws to use against me.

And finally, I'm a gun owner. I would bet that most gun owners in Chicago, even legally possessing their FOID and CCL are in one way or another breaking laws just due to the ridiculous amount of laws on the books. If you have a commonly configured Ruger 10/22 and possess a 25 round mag, you're a criminal. If you have a j-frame revolver with a built in crimson trace laser grip, you're a criminal. If you have an ar-15 pistol, you are potentially a criminal. I don't want to be the first one to try that case. If I go out and end up on the wrong side of the law in any way shape or form- I have no faith that a CPD wouldn't dutifully carry out a politically motivated investigation into me.

Finally, Chicago is very compartmentalized by neighborhood, and with everyone working from home, you don't have a lot of investment in the welfare of other neighborhoods. No one goes into the loop anymore. It's a place for tourists, and the yuppies that chose an unfortunate time to live there. I get angry when the looting hits the neighborhoods that I live in and where my family lives. Our local gangs were posted up when the looting hit my hood. I would have been, but I'm not getting involved with that. I stayed on my porch. I'm not gonna be in this city forever, so it's really just not worth it.

Thank you for your thoughtful and personal answer aconcernedtroll. That makes sense but its also very depressing. I guess we'll all just sit on our porches and watch our country burn!

2
aconcernedtroll 2 points ago +2 / -0

Haha, it is depressing. That's why I'm going to move where there are more like minded people.

How is hitting someone over the head with a skateboard multiple times not attempted murder? Moreso, how does that kind of attack not merit shooting the attacker, in self defense. The cop could easily have died from head trauma. It's absolutely insane someone could think that is OK to do, especially in broad daylight.

But beating a man over the head with a skateboard in Albuquerque, NM, while your two accomplices attack him leads to no charges except for the man that defended himself.

What these protesters don’t understand is that there are informants peppered throughout all of these riots and protests.
