I can just picture the democrats and the media pointing to Trump as an orange meenie that doesn't want to give extra money to the USPS therefore preventing granny from getting her christmas cards in the mail.

What can he do to ensure they don't get the billions that the Dems want to give them?

No matter how much money they give the USPS, they will never be able to reliably deliver all the ballots.

I’m a mailman in Ohio. Let me clear some stuff up for you pedes...

When talking about mass mail-in voting; the problem isn’t a logistical one. We deliver door to door items every week and sometimes multiple times a week along with our regular load of mail. That’s not a problem. We can deliver the ballots and we can pick them up. Simple. The left is trying to get the public to think that Trump is trying to stop of from regular distribution and collection. That’s nonsense. That’s just a distraction. We do it everyday. It’s literally no problem at all.

The REAL issue arises with the ballots themselves and the verification and integrity. Mass mail-in ballots in the hood would be given to or collected by a central Democrat head and they’d be filled out accordingly. Ballots from people that never vote, are dead, cats, etc. And if you didn’t know; most of these “affordable housing” units cram a dozen people with 8 different last names in them. That’s a thing. That’s how they live. Never worked a day in their life, either (they don’t have to).

So, in Ohio, for instance; Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Toledo, Akron all go blue (that’s the norm), BUT they’d now go bluer and this flipping the entire state blue. They’d go from a 33% participation to a 50%. Biden is your President in this scenario. Trump knows this.

So, please frame your argument correctly. Do not talk about trucks and sorting machines. That’s what they want you to do. We’re fine there. We could do it no problem.

Trump wanted to quadruple what Amazon pays to make deliveries through USPS. Maybe realize it should be even more, insisting that it is only fair for Jeff Bezos to foot the bill. Liberals are very conservative fiscally, so it will be tied up and nothing will happen.

They can't. Organizing this in such a short time will be impossible. It would take years

SOROS is good at getting taxpayers to fund his projects. Stealing the election by mail-in vote fraud will now have to be funded by him and not taxpayers.

he doesnt need to do anything. its congresses job to fund things. and they decided not to fund it. Democrats just realized this and are bitching and crying lol

I don't understand why they need "Billions" of dollars for the equivalent of less than $200 million of postage paid mail?

A stamp is 50 cents, there are roughly 150 million registered voters out of around 200 million eligible voting age citizens. So taking into account the ballots being sent both directions, that leaves a postage bill of at most $200 million.

What am I missing?

The number of pieces of mail delivered per day by the United States Postal Service is about 509 million, according to the USPS.

So, increasing the capacity around 1.3% over a 1-month period requires multiple billions of dollars?

From a random article I just checked:

"They want $3.5 billion for something that will turn out to be fraudulent. That's election money, basically," Trump said during Thursday's call-in interview.

"They want $25 billion — billion — for the post office," he said, adding that, without it, the Postal Service won't be equipped to handle the influx of mail-in ballots.

Democrats have pushed for $10 billion for the Postal Service in talks with Republicans on a huge COVID-19 response bill. The figure is down from a $25 billion plan in a House-passed coronavirus measure.

What's the extra money for? Pay raises?

all the unspent money siphoned back to the Dem party?

If Congress works out a solution there's not much he can do about it. (I'm doubtful they will)

but couldn't he veto any such spending bill passed by Congress and senate and simply not sign it?

You're right. I forgot about that.

But the odds are if Congress manages to pass a bill that funds USPS the Dems will have made the concessions Trump wanted.

I have serious doubts they will be able to get a deal done in time.
