"Raised her as black?" So they are saying it's false because she IDENTIFIES as being black? Jesus Christ. Fuck all fact checkers, they are the biggest liars.

I was having a conversation with a friend and asked her what her nationality is. She said, "I'm black." I told her I didn't ask for her race but her nationality. She didn't understand the difference.
I said the people in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Niger would all be considered "Black" by your definition but their nationalities are completely different. Different beliefs, cultures, even different tastes in food. I told her there are even differences between black people in Alabama and Texas.
She never thought of it that way before.

No Indian will knowingly identify her child as a Black, no matter what. They are obsessed with light skinned-ness. The best selling beauty product for the past half a century is called 'Fair and Lovely'. Every Indian dreams of becoming a tone lighter than they are.
Also the reason why her mum put her race as Caucasian on her birth certificate.
