The UK media always calls muslim child rapists from Pakistan "asians". I've never heard anyone in the US call an Indian or a Pakistani an "asian". People in Canada call themselves Canadian not American. Likewise with Mexico/Mexican. US citizens are Americans. Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Thai, etc. are asians. This is the vernacular of the USA and since we're the best country on earth I'm gonna stick with it.
