The editorial boards of major media outlets have proposed an innovative approach to the debates this fall. Instead of having separate Presidential and Vice-Presidential debates, the full ticket for both parties will appear on stage together: Trump and Pence face off against Harris and Biden.

"We see this as a win for both sides," said George Stephanopolous of ABC News. Instead of isolating the Vice Presidential candidates in an event nobody watches, this new, groundbreaking format enables and empowers the American people to see the best of both tickets simultaneously.

The format will be largely unchanged, aside from the absence of an audience. Each ticket will be given 60 seconds to respond, and the other side will have 30 seconds to rebut. Although questions will be directed to one person, either member of the ticket will have the ability to respond.

Another innovation of the event is that it will be held at 10pm Hawaii time (GMT-10), to prevent disenfranchsing citizens and non-citizens of that large and influential state.

"No one should interpret this as an attempt to help shore up Joe Biden's obvious weaknesses," explained Donna Brazile. "We could just give him the questions in advance as I did with Hillary. There's even a little teleprompter for him to read the answers from. Make no mistake, this is about blurring the lines between the two candidates."

Vice-presidential nominee Kamala Harris added, "I very much look forward to appearing on the debate stage alongside my current running mate. Following the debate I will be reassessing my options."

Chris Wallace of FOX News could not be reached for comment, but executives assured us that he was supportive and/or would be bound and gagged until he fell in line.

I started to laugh, and then realised this is probably going to be a real news story soon.

It’s because they know Biden can’t perform. I say keep it like it is. There’s a reason the left is all for it.

ummm no. Biden must be on his own against Pres Trump. no special treatment, no quarter given. he wants to vie for the office, Biden has to show us what he's got.

Can’t tell if this is real or fake. Dems have shattered every norm in their sick quest for power.
