Aaaaaachtually her family sounds pretty based...her dad gave her a raft of shit about her implying that Jamaicans are all stoners. He was fairly pissed off about it. Not sure what his politics are like otherwise tho.
Must be one of those "social conservative, political leftist" types.
....Or more to the point, one those "In our family we make our kids work hard in school and expect them to excel, but we get professional jobs where we're paid to encourage other families to degenerate" types.
Shocking that people who lived actual under oppressive third-world governments where it's not unusual to be robbed, brutalized, or murdered by the local authorities for no reason at all would dislike people who live their entire lives in a country that gives them every possible opportunity to succeed, often funded by taxpayer dollars, then claim to be "oppressed" because committing crimes and then resisting arrest occasionally results in violence at the hands of the authorities.
If you want to see proof that there is a cultural problem with black America go befriend some Jamaicans and see how much different their attitude is.

There was a Jamaican dude in my platoon once, he was very smart, super friendly, respectful and loved the United States! Great guy.
