Cops are enforcers of the state. If you have a good state following the constitution and respecting peoples rights the cops will do that. If you have a tyrannical state infringing on peoples rights the cops will do that. Don't be a bootlicker. You shouldn't go around burning police stations but also shouldn't trust the police to protect your rights. Most will follow orders no matter what they are.
