You know, because that makes more sense than just arresting the people that commit the crimes and locking them away because they gave up their right to participate in society.
Soon it will be that the rioters are actually protesting white supremacist gun violence, since whites "have all the money" and thus choose to buy guns to "oppress BIPOC." In fact, whites owning guns is what created white cultural supremacy in the first place, which is why cops themselves were created to oppress, harass, and even kill BIPOC.
The correct solution is for whites to hand over their weapons as well as their wealth and their homes to even out the disparity - true reparations can't be reparations without BIPOC seizing the weapons that made them oppressed in the first place.

Just checked into this more and it says they are asking people to look through their own homes and turn in guns they may have. Either way if any law abiding gun owners did this they are retarded.
