Something to keep in mind here, folks:

The headline in the tweet only says "an increase in shootings". It doesn't say WHO is getting shot. Could be looters and rioters getting shot by scared citizens and homeowners.

And, the following is a fairly wild guess, but when a mob of looters or rioters is doing their thing and one of them gets shot, their buddies probably won't be very likely to call the police..............
