I too remember the Orange blossoms and orange groves in the OC..I remember the lazy beach cities and the smell of the ocean..I remember feeling safe while walking on the strand..Now I cannot go to the beach without seeing homeless drug addicts, smell urine and crap..can't walk in my park for fear of being attacked by a crazy drug addict. I havent stepped foot in LA in years.. I used to go downtown sometimes to shop in the garment district.. never again..I stay away from LA..the sad thing is the lefts policies have destroyed cities and have now been destroying the suburbs..it is spilling over.. I moved from LA years ago but now my town in OC is being destroyed as well. Thank You you fucking leftist Democrats! Thanks for ruining a beautiful state.. If you aren't a multi millionaire in California you get fucked!

Lived in Orange County for 28 years and remember the good ole days. The cost of living is insane, while wages have barely moved. And Orange County is still waaaay better than LA county. Left about 6 years ago and will never return.

When I was a kid I watch the Rose Bowl parade, then I'd watch the Rose Bowl game and see the sunny beaches and Keith Jackson.
Then I'd watch Three's Company and how they'd show the sunny beaches of San Diego.
