That grip does look low... You want to make sure the webbing below your thumb is snug and high up under the beaver tail. Solid grip. Helps to keep you on target while dealing with recoil.
A squeeze grip will help with building the muscles necessary to control that recoil. However, it's not totally necessary. Control is where it's at in the end.
I'd suggest getting some snap caps so you can dry fire without messing up your firing pin. They also help with knowing when the hammer will drop and you can watch your hands to see if you are pulling too hard to the left or right.

The webbing of your right thumb should be touching the bottom of the beaver tail. If your hand is higher, instead of the gun rotating in your grip, it comes straight back into your arm.
Also, counterintuitively, larger, heavier pistols recoil less than smaller guns.

Currently your thumb is about in line with the middle of the trigger, it should instead by in-line with the bottom of the slide. Your thumb should be higher than the trigger guard.

Looking good! Practice leaning into it. A little, you look like your bent backwards a little.
In this stance, the feet are spread shoulder width apart, with the dominant leg only slightly behind the forward extended non-dominant leg. The shooting arm is fully locked while the support arm is flexed slightly downwards. With all the above stance options you want to lean slightly forward to compensate for the gun recoil.
I did a mag of fast succession and I was surprised at how much more fun it was haha. Probably not a good thing to enjoy a lot when there’s a bullet shortage...
I never got the learning forward thing. I lean back slightly but right foot is back. Been shooting a long time like this and can hit where I'm aiming. Then again I'm fairly big and strong, might be helpful for a smaller person.

EZ is what was recommended to me by everyone from the local gun shop to my brother to my friends to the random “top ten best guns for women for defense” articles, so I went with it. I don’t mind the safeties, since I’m so new to it all!

Hey make sure you are leaning forward a bit when shooting. Leaning backward is a common mistake that throws off your control and balance.
I am in complete balance and stability leaning back a little with right foot back. Forward lean doesnt feel as stable. I hit where I aim.
