It’s not about us standing in line. It’s about making sure they have to stand in line.

If there is widespread mail in voting, and Trump loses I will not stand for it. I'll drop everything and making the election right will be my new priority. Who is with me?

I can already hear the "but muh jerb and famuly" cries from all the "patriots" around here.

I've been ready for years at this point to do something about the problem. I'm not John Rambo so I'm twiddling my thumbs waiting for the rest of you to get off your asses so we can fix the problem.

Even the patriots at Lexington and concord didn’t want to be the first. Everyone stands off, Someone NDs and bingo bango bongo there’s a “shot heard round the world”

ShartMaster 14 points ago +14 / -0

The interesting thing is that the shot on Lexington Green didn't actually start the war. The colonists on the green were slaughtered, but the people didn't start lighting things up just yet.

The Redcoats went all the way to concord and pushed a small group to the North Bridge. Once they reached the bridge, they formed up in a street fighting formation when they were met by the militia who was spread out covering their location from a nearby hill. Once the Lobsterbacks fired, the militia returned fire and decimated the forces on the bridge (by shooting the commanding officers first).

After getting their asses handed to them, and failing to secure the colonists' powder and arms, the Redcoats started marching back to Boston.

The Revolutionary War began when some BAMFS decided to take the initiative and fire first at Meriam's Corner. THAT was when the war kicked off.

The Redcoats starting marching back to Boston while getting shot at nearly the whole way back.

Minuteman National Historic Park in MA is a fascinating place. I went there a couple years ago while in Boston and the area on vacation. Going to the North Bridge was an awe-inspiring experience. Standing in the location that eventually started the war that created the United States was amazing.

Sporadica 8 points ago +8 / -0

by shooting the commanding officers first)

That's one thing I loved about the Revolutionary war.

Introduction of guerilla tactics and doing away with this idea of nobility and honour in war. There is no honour in war. It's violent and disgusting but necessary in many cased.

It used to be that all the peasants would be killed and the officers were hands off, until the Americans said "fuck that, we're going to kill your best and brightest"

I just think they've been pacified mostly by religion. There have been plenty of firsts but they'd rather condemn anyone who takes action against the government, no matter what it does, because their cause is not "peaceful", no matter how righteous the retaliation is.

I am a rightist, I support the right - but I would never count on the right's support if the government murdered my family and I avenged them.

This is also why the left isn't really afraid of us and continues to operate with impunity. The right views any action taken independent of government as operating outside their role and condemns them as "vigilantes" or "terrorists" without providing any alternative solution. That said, the right is changing in this regard but I fear not fast enough.

8
Ragnar_Danneskjold 8 points ago +8 / -0

You're right.

How many people here believe abortion is murder? Like actually believe it is 100% straight up cold blooded premeditated murder of an innocent child? A fair portion right?

So why is it that the few times in the past when someone went into an abortion clinic and shot the "doctors", everyone on the the right was clamoring and tripping over each other to be the first to call it despicable and vile? If you were walking down the street and you saw someone standing with a 4 year old child and a butcher knife in their hand just about to cut the child's throat, would you feel justified and righteous in using your CCW pistol to stop it? Would you cheer if you heard someone had done that? I bet most of us would. What if it was a 1 year old child? A 6 month old baby? A 3 day old infant? We'd all feel it was totally justified and righteous to shoot someone who was about to murder those children right? When you know that someone is about to commit a cold blooded premeditated murder of an infant right fucking there, it's not wrong to use violence or lethal force to stop it right?

Except all those people who say they believe abortion is 100% cold blooded premeditated murder of an innocent baby don't stand up and cheer when someone does that exact thing to the murderers in an abortion clinic. Why?

Because it's easy to feel good about yourself and say that in a theoretical sense, abstractly, you would support things like that. You would support someone who used force to stop someone from murdering babies, or used a gun to stop a mob from beating someone to death, or burning a group of people alive that they've trapped in a building. It feels good to pump up your chest over a beer at your computer and say that you would be totally on board with that, if you were in that situation you might do it yourself, or you'd cheer if some hero out there did it. But when it actually happens it all gets a little too real and a little too scary, and all the would be internet heroes slink back to hide behind their screens or try to cast attention away from themselves by claiming that violence is wrong, and we have to be better than that, blah blah blah.

The right is so damn afraid of being seen as the bad guy that we even sell each other out and call those few who actually act on the principles we all espouse a villain, and we all know it. We can all say, "if I was driving by and I saw 8 Antifa terrorists beating a man to death in the road with bricks and pipes, I would draw and fire at them". But I promise that the minute that actually happens, a significant chunk of "the right" would be the first in line to sell that rescuer up the river and call him the bad guy in order to avoid themselves or our side being viewed as villains in the media. Fewer on TDW than other right leaning places are like that thankfully, but there are still some of them here. It's unavoidable.

And I've noted one other disgusting trait that does crop up here on TDW rather frequently. Cowards trying to shield their own cowardice by throwing up the smokescreen of "well, why haven't you done anything huh? What have you done". They know in their hearts they would falter if called to action. They know that if it was them, they would bitch out. If it were their neighborhood, they would close the blinds, turn off the lights, and hope the mob thinks they're not home. They know themselves, and they know they're afraid. So when they see people talking about not being afraid, it shines the light on their own cowardice, so they attack that light. Even something as simple as someone asking "Hey, what we can do to organize some kind of movement to counterbalance what the Leftist mobs are doing?" will be met with no small number of "Oh yeah, I don't see you out there doing anything tough guy. I don't see you charging into the fray." They attack the person trying to rally our cause because it puts their own cowardice into such stark contrast and they know it. So they need to bring those others who want more down to their level. They are terrified of action, so they feel they must berate and ridicule anyone who isn't to silence them and bring them low, so that they don't feel so bad about themselves. I can think of a few notable names of TDW users who do this frequently. There's one who stalks my profile regularly who is such a pathetic coward. They are so terrified of action, and they know it's contemptible and loathe themselves for it (but not enough to overcome their own fear), that the only way to sooth their own self-loathing is to attack others who even mention the idea of our side rallying to some sort of counterbalancing cause to oppose rampant leftist terror. These weak willed, craven, vile creatures will be the first to sell us out if they get the chance, as long as they can tell themselves it was the right thing to do, because that's the only way they can appease their own deep feelings of inadequacy and cowardice.

I gotta go to work that day but let me tell you...if the Antifa's ever come on my front porch on my day off, Imma do something but here, have a hardcore meme "Say When" to show how badass I am". Our side is a bunch of no show/shit talking pussies.

I think Trump losing would be a catalyst. I suspect there is some fear at this time of just being a one-off "right-wing terrorist" as no one backs you up and you become media fodder for the commies.

I'll ride a moose army down from Canada to help out, if I can find enough mooses. Honestly, though, I don't think they can get away with a rigged election right now. Too many people wouldn't stand for it.

Let's be serious, no one will do anything except bitch and go to work on Wednesday morning and post a couple of meme's on Twitter. There's a reason why our country is in the shape it is now and not how the founders envisioned. Because no one wants to rock the boat and potentially die or go to prison for a long time. Meanwhile leftists will fight tooth and nail for generations to get the country they want.

2
OhLollyLollyPop 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't think there is a lot of enthusiasm for Biden, so a lot of Dems will just stay home. Frankly, voting is a PITA and you need to be motivated to bother with it. The Dems see mail in voting as likely more successful (less effort) and they can harvest those ballots, too.

61

I live in a swing state. Mailing it in sounds too risky to me.

41
CmonGubMintGibMe 41 points ago +41 / -0

Same here..... fuck people who want to mail in vote. They just want to cheat.

13
Afeazo 13 points ago +13 / -0

It’s not about wanting to cheat, these people are just so lazy they prefer to use a less secure voting method simply because it requires less work.

And then simply because we point out all the fraud, they deny it but then spin it as republicans wanting to suppress democrat voters, even though the voters in question aren’t legitimate votes.

5
Spicy_maymay 5 points ago +5 / -0

It is about wanting to cheat. Remember when Trump tweeted the (deleted) video about the dude who received a mail-in ballot for his deceased cat, or the dude who received 5 different ballots?

3
OhLollyLollyPop 3 points ago +3 / -0

It's also about vote harvesting. If they mail ballots to everyone in blue precincts, they send Dem vote harvesters out to collect a lot of them. Republicans can't really do that in those areas.

3
memechallenger33 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes. Just mail your ballot day before election. Then go to vote in person. You get two votes. Your ballot gets counted later. If you get busted for voting twice, you just say someone stole your ballot from the mail. Easy peasy. But, they won't bust anyone, because they would be busting the 40% of the populace who are dems. Too many people to bust them all.

4
OhLollyLollyPop 4 points ago +4 / -0

It won't get counted twice except in blue states, which are shady anyway.

I live in MN, it doesn't even sound risky. I would have better luck luck throwing it in the trash, running it through a shredder, incinerating it, spreading the ashes on the sun and then having John McCain's Ghost wrap it in shrink wrap and delivering it directly to President Trump than have it counted by mail.

8

What's the difference between John McCain's ghost and a regular ghost? McCain's ghost voted Democrat when he was alive, too.

When you debate a stupid lib on this topic ask them why we ever had polling places in the first place considering the postal service has been around much longer. Educate them on how people fought for polling places so that their right to vote could be secure and anonymous, and using mail in voting is undoing a hundred years of work of voting rights advocates.

3
WhitePowerRanger 3 points ago +3 / -0

I'm not sure why all the states don't offer two weeks early voting like Florida does. It solves all the problems the left complains about. My wife and I were in and out in 5 minutes even with the social distancing BS

Mailbox removal started over 20 years ago and has been going on ever since. Article from 2009, during the Obama administration: https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2009-mar-18-me-mailboxes18-story.html

The number of U.S. mail-collection boxes has declined sharply in the last decade:

1999: 337,000 2005: 295,050 2007: 204,342 March 2009: 187,000

They've even had to backtrack on this regular process because people started reeeeing. They're blaming the new postmaster even though most of this started before he was even in the position. The media are openly lying and stirring a frenzy. Rigged for trump and yet the postal union came out as supporting Biden as a candidate. Rigged for trump and yet only the left are wholly against voting in person using social distancing, masks, and a coordinated adaptation of the voting process to make things safer, rather than massive mail in voting which has been proven to be fraught with fraudulent results. The left is full on coup de grace mode and its sickening.

2
OhLollyLollyPop 2 points ago +2 / -0

Their postal union is a major reason not to use Cheat by Mail.

1
Sporadica 1 point ago +1 / -0

The USPS has a mail capacity of 300M or so per day, estimated 140M ballots will be sent which is how many people are registered to vote, that's half a day's sorting capacity, that's of course assuming everyone drops it in the mailbox the exact same day.

Agreed. Vote in person. I heard somewhere, Rush, or Hannity's guest say that voting early allows the vote counters know early how many fake ballots they'll need to swing the vote in their favor.

5
DrinkMoreWater 5 points ago +5 / -0

Why do you keep showing up in threads saying the same copy & paste thing about voting early?

3
try4gain 3 points ago +3 / -0

Normal voting involves some long lines and general fuckery. This happens all the time.

Corona-voting has the potential to have MEGA fuckery and MEGA lines.

Because of this it's best to vote early and avoid and corona-voting fuckery.

  • "Oh sorry we had to close the polls because someone farted hard and I think their dog has corona"

  • "Polls closed cuz not enough volunteers"

  • "Super mega 15 hr lines to vote everywhere"

  • "Huge delay cuz we gotta sanitize the machines every single time someone votes"

1
DrinkMoreWater 1 point ago +1 / -0

I thought you were advocating voting by mail, since you can mail in your vote earlier than even the debates in many places (which I think is one of the reasons dems are pushing for it so hard). My mistake!

Seriously people. There isn't going to be an election this year. The deep state and the communists know it. That's why they don't care about public perception. They are going to delay in the courts until time runs out and they will attempt to install Pelosi.

Mail in voting is a sign of submission past just wearing a mask. They've already won that front. Now they're testing our submission in a way that has serious consequences by tampering with our votes directly and seeing how successful that is.
