Serious topics that deserve conversation are overrun by posters who demonstrate they are either really young, really juvenile, or lack an adequate education to think for themselves

You insulted OP and anyone curious about this topic by saying anyone who hasn’t “deduced why this is happening” has a common core education. You didn’t contribute anything meaningful. You didn’t contribute any information on topic, such as reasons why there may be an aluminum shortage. You followed up by doubling down with a fake apology which included more scorn than humility. This quote however is a very good description of yourself.

Fair enough. Not my intention but I can see how it came off that way. I find your insulting me a tad hypocritical.

Call it whatever you want. I’ll take you seriously when you contribute something meaningful to OP’s question instead of some condescending bull crap with zero substance like say, answer his question about why there may be an aluminum shortage.

Humor me, let’s say I’m just a common core educated hypocrite. What reason(s) would there be for an aluminum shortage?

Sure. And just to preface, take a look at the top voted comments in the thread. I believe one is aout Wall Street having it out for Trump and the other suggesting we are going to war. That's what people will see when they open this thread.

Since the pandemic started, people have been consuming more packaged goods at home. One of those happens to be beer. It's not like I can go to the bar down the street. Notice OP also mentions it's just the Budweiser, and not the craft stuff. Budweiser happens to be more popular and economical, so no surprise that they would have a shortage before other less poplar brands. However I would not be surprised if the opposite surfaces since AB has a little more market power than you local mom and pop brewery. Also, it is not an aliminum shortage as much as it is an aluminam can shortage. Https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/5443308002
