"managed to not only survive but form a vibrant culture in a country that's in constant war (400 years of it) against them."
🤦♂️
Some fucking perspective: Europe was furious with America about her delayed entry into World War II. (The lefty NY Press twice naming Hitler the 'man of the year' having something to do with that)
But .. as Norm Macdonald has noted - 'when Germany goes to war, who do they pick as their enemy? The World. Which you'd think would be a simple rout, but, no, Germany comes really close to winning.'
Europe was furious with the US because they knew, the moment the US actually Entered the war, the tide would turn and whomever America was aimed at would lose.
In this instance: the highly inventive, dedicated, and mechanized nation that sort-of routinely fights and almost defeats The World.
But, in Lyubemetski's diseased mind, the nation that comes to the rescue of The World .. has been "At War" with a small number of its own residents, .. for 400 fucking years .. and there's anything remaining of them beyond some graphite on a cave wall.
