The interesting part is they were headed for your home. They got there. Stopped, took the sign, then turned around. It wasn't like they were on their way somewhere and just happened to see the sign. Your home was the destination.
They actually drove around a few times. I saw them driving on the street about 2 minutes prior to taking the sign. I'm guessing they're just going around looking for signs since my last sign was also stolen around the same time (Sunday afternoon)
To have some fun, coat the edges of the sign with Magic Lube Teflon Lubricant. This stuff is clear, oil based so it never dries, and tacky as hell. In fact, the excess/overflow around the top cap from my 2013 pool filter install is STILL tacky.
Getting this off your hands is very difficult and almost impossible to remove from clothing, or a car interior. Have fun!
