There is no telling if/when violence will become necessary. You have to decide for yourself under what circumstances violence becomes an option for you. If you decide that violence is NEVER an option then you've already given up your right to everything, including your own life, because you are allowing anyone to take it from you. We should all be slow to come to violence, but we should never remove it from our list of options, because our enemies will not.
