Now that we have that out of the way, at least play the game before making wildly false claims. The scene from your screenshot accounts for maybe 30 seconds of an entire 30-40 hour game. No different than anything else you see on any television show other than a brief exposure to breasts. Did I mention this game is rated M for mature?
It's a post-apocalyptic setting where "zombies" (people who were infected with a fungal disease and aren't "zombies" in a traditional sense of the word) have very little to do with the story. The bulk of the story involves two characters (and three factions) whose paths intersect. Both have similar things happen to them, both have different sides of the story, and both have different motivations and intentions. It's a story about revenge and you experience two sides of the same coin.
Also, Ellie was a lesbian in the first game, that's actually not something they threw in at the last minute to make a diversity quota in this game. They also don't become "friends" in the end.
It's painfully obvious you never played the game and are just regurgitating what you heard from a video by the Quartering or some other neck beard on youtube. The only reason people were upset about the game is because of a main character dying towards the beginning of the game. Thats it. The rest of it (such as Abby being a tranny), was made up as part of their outrage culture to urge you to not by the game because they were pissed off. Congrats, you got played.
