My SIL lives just outside of Boston and she's a Trump supporter through and through. Granted, she's not IN Boston so you're probably right. That's how it works with states, though. You have one or two big cities that are liberal shit holes while the rest of the state is based af.

We took a picture of some dipshit wearing a mask in the ocean. Then we took another of someone else. Then we stopped because we sadly realized it wasnt unique.

19
ShiffsDeadHooker 19 points ago +19 / -0

I went into the ocean in August on a beach at Block Island, which is just off Rhode Island (so south of the Boston area by 60 miles or so) and HOLY SHIT was the water cold. I don't see how people can swim in the ocean there in New England.

11
Libertas_Vel_Mors 11 points ago +11 / -0

Come up to the Pacific Northwest, fren... if you don't get hypothermia within 3 minutes of swimming, you're not in the water.

(Even the rivers are still ice-cold, 100-degree-plus-weather be damned.)

Same Democrats here in Oregon. They absolutely love the "new normal". They called for martial law during the lockdown and want quarantine enforced at gunpoint.

5

They are authoritarians, which is why they are gleefully playing the role of mask police. They get off on banning and mandating things.

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on the German protests and gotta hand it to them. I hate to admit it, but it's a damn shame when the Germans are better at civil disobedience than Americans.

We need to march.

Fans in groups of up to five people are watching the show from separate viewing platforms at what the promoters say is the world's first socially-distanced concert.

The 500 raised enclosures and metal pens at Gosforth Park are 6.5ft apart to reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus, and revellers are able to order food and drink.

They will gladly put themselves into gulags for the "public good." They likely would not put up a fight when being herded to the gas chambers. I doubt they'd even beat on the doors once they realized what was happening.

More helicopters indeed.

28
Keiichi81 28 points ago +29 / -1

That's an interesting observation. Have you seen the photos from the holocaust of prisoners lined up being herded towards the gas chambers? Like, they HAD to know they were being executed, and yet hundreds of people just passively lined up and marched to their death. Same for the prisoners who were given shovels and told to dig their own graves. They didn't even TRY to fight their captors. A couple guards with rifles was all it took to keep hundreds under control.

I'd like to think that if I knew I was being led to my death, I'd at least try to go out with my thumbs firmly planted in the eye sockets of those responsible, but who knows?

CuomoisaMassMurderer 5 points ago +5 / -0

Your last sentence needs scrutiny. Kipling wrote the same warnings, and look at the UK now. It's entirely possible for us to be too damned chivalrous and patient, and to lose our last opportunity to make things right. For example we should've physically removed 40+ Governors from Office under citizen's arrest for mass murder on 3/31. By 5/26 that became much harder. Same with this election, if we fail to secure assurances of a fair election before November, our position seriously weakens after fraudulent results are announced.

3
Abovethefray 3 points ago +3 / -0

Very reasoned analysis. I try not to say what people should have done, but it is hard to go against our nature. And that very act , those type of comments, seems to be our natural response method.

Hard to get out of the box, but we have smart people here. I guess that is why we are here.

13
Fyrjefe 13 points ago +13 / -0

There is a lot of programming that leads up to these moments. The soviets were more than ten times more efficient at extermination than the Nazis were purported to be. By the time your food was taken away or you arrived at the gulag, you had already accepted it as inevitable. They created a society of distrust and disunity. Everything you experienced under the state was as if you were alone. The antidote is families and close communities. It's why the tyrants in the west work so hard against the household and the church.

5
Keiichi81 5 points ago +5 / -0

They created a society of distrust and disunity. Everything you experienced under the state was as if you were alone.

Gee, why does this sound familiar...?

9
FutureMan 9 points ago +10 / -1

It's incredibly hard to fight back when you're been starved for days, haven't slept properly in weeks, and are mentally drained and exhausted. At that point, all it WOULD take is just two dipshits with rifles to keep you in line.

2
America1stAndOnly 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's why when you start to get hungry you take the fight to the enemy. Raid their camp to take their food. If you wait that long before you fight back, then you never intended to fight back at all.

2
FutureMan 2 points ago +2 / -0

They were probably in the same situation we are in now. We are afraid to do anything because doing it means immediately forfeiting any chance of having a normal life with our loved ones. I don't even have kids, but I care about my parents. I cannot imagine, someone with 2 small kids, trying to take the fight to anyone.

1
America1stAndOnly 1 point ago +1 / -0

When you have 2 small kids and nothing to feed them, you can't imagine taking the fight to the enemy to get food for them? Well I can. Better that than watching ones kids starve to death.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

This is why it's important we decide when it's time to make our move, and to do so before it's too late. After fraudulent election results are announced, it's too late. Our position drastically weakens then. We need to fight like hell to have a fair election

2

10
Corn_Poop 10 points ago +10 / -0

I saw a Tim Pool video recently about how some people lack inner monologue. I did a quick look right now, but couldn't find a link. I think it was on his IRL channel.

16
GoldenEagle1776 16 points ago +16 / -0

I found it, if true it's fucking weird. I'm constantly thinking and my "inner monolgue" never shuts up. Yet some people flat out don't think, fuck'n a that would be horrible.

5
Djt2029 5 points ago +5 / -0

Having your inner monologue never shut up is not good either. Makes it hard to focus, you wrap false narratives around things, your mind never gets an opportunity to think subconsciously, etc. That's what meditation and such is all about. Quieting mine has made me much more focused, calm, and deliberate in actions especially within each moment. Your thoughts should be mere observations not driving your day.

But yeah wow I thought everyone had an inner monologue.

5
wholesomekangz100 5 points ago +5 / -0

I guess I should start mediation. The fucker in here never stops talking

1

0
FormerGraveheart 0 points ago +1 / -1

It's a good idea.

10
Isolated_Patriot 10 points ago +10 / -0

I've read psychological papers on this years ago. Some people are so extroverted they cannot 'think' without speaking.

You know that person who never seems to shut up, and it's like every random thought they have just spills out of their mouth? That's exactly what's happening. That person can't think internally, so they have to talk for their brain to even function. Silence and 'alone time' are like sensory deprivation to them

When that person is sitting quietly while the television speaks to them, they are quite literally being told what to think. When they watch a movie and hear the villain monologue about how half the population needs to die for socialism to work, they don't question it at all.

7
BeefyBelisarius 7 points ago +7 / -0

The really funny thing is, the whole no inner monologue thing started spreading around months after the NPC meme peaked.

If everyone had your perspective no one would wear a mask.

Again if there’s a resurgence in CV19 and it’s shown to be in areas where’s masks are not prevalent... say hello to president xiden & all y’all anti-mask motherfuckers will be the reason why. Literally school choice, immigration reform, China policy, abortion - all down the drain because people like you glamorize not wearing a mask. We’re so close to permanently changing America and you guys choose masks as your hill to die on.

Personally I wear a mask and would rather not interact with people not wearing masks because countries like Taiwan credit their CV19 success to masks. They’ve also done tests on rats where they saw a way lower rate of CV19 transmission. I would like the government to be able to better report on mask effectiveness but they’re too busy dealing with the post office. I know people on this forum seem to equate masks with government control but it’ll be worse under Biden, he wants everyone to wear a mask everywhere and if CV19 numbers jump up again, I fear his reality

25
deleted 25 points ago +25 / -0
-13
Ninjavideo -13 points ago +3 / -16

Again I’m interpreting your post that masks are your hill to die on.

Florida just had 10k diagnoses a day - how did this happen? I believe the mechanism was squeezing a large amount of people into a small region then introducing some coughers or who knows if the same mechanism is taken by coughers as well as talkers, who knows? By the primary mechanism this disease spreads seems to be through droplets while you talk, cough, sneeze - to say masks do nothing to inhibit his is misguided at best. If you put a layer between an easily transmissible virus and it’s surrounding the virus will be inhibited... surprise fucking surprise.

Again if people on this forum choose to spread misinformation and look at the mechanism and disregard it, we deserve emperor Xiden but the mechanism to me, makes crystal clear sense & hence masks make sense.

Emperor Xiden will make sure of this and once we’re through 6 months of everyone wearing a mask, he’ll take credit for the sky high recovery as well and we’ll have 2 terms of Xiden while the left does all it can to scapegoat Trump with CV19.

15
deleted 15 points ago +15 / -0

Absolutely the numbers may be inflated

Yes having the virus and not changing any behaviour is tantamount to death. If you have the virus and continue to go see nona, you’re in the same boat as women who go through their 21st abortion

I don’t understand your last point. There is a hypothesized mechanism for travel, by deploying a barrier between you and your surrounding, it makes sense this would inhibit droplets from spreading

6
HocusLocus 6 points ago +6 / -0

. Again I’m interpreting your post that masks are your hill to die on.

++ I like that you are pressing people on this. They need to be pressed. TDW have blowhards who in reality don't want to be that girl/guy who has the cops called on them. Yet they sense that COVID aerosol threat is subject to hysteria.

If Trump wins expect it to be a bitter fight down to one COVID-exclusive death a month. If Biden wins expect to see half the people not wearing masks the day after the election and NO masks worn within a week. With plenty of nervous sideways glances and no words uttered.

COVID itself is not the 'hill' for the US economy and millennia of human custom to die on. Fully half of the early wave deaths in our affluent country are attributable to standard hands-on pneumonia treatments being 'ruled out' in crisis and people put quickly onto killer vents by (sorry to say, cowardly) healthcare practitioners. And patients lying abed in nursing homes essentially left untreated by hospital and untouched by terrified staff.

Since April at least half of the remaining deaths are due to the 'standard treatment' being no early treatment. people told by doctors at first symptom to "return home and self-isolate" and then some of them arrive at the hospital on day 7 with hypoxia when viral replication has already occurred.

Viral replication that HCQ+ZINC+AZM if given early would have knocked out by day 5. The US has fallen into a deadly affluence+TDS trap.

But I have been telling people for months now that based on ONE criterion of this virus alone -- that it is as transmissible as the common cold -- everyone needs to expect to get it and get over it. EVERYONE. Flatten the curve was a great idea and training exercise for the next worse one. BUT those who echo the utopian of the WHO and mask wearing hysterics that this disease can be 'eradicated' is in dangerous denial. They're setting up a toxic culture where blame is placed on disease carriers who should (practically speaking) remain blameless because of its transmissibility. And at the very end of this pointless destruction... it won't work anyway.

It doesn't kill children like the 1918 did. We need to count our blessings.

No one will die on any hills. Red states will open up completely and return to the old normal, and Blue states will ride this thing all the way down to the bottom. Or the day after Joe Biden winning the election. Whichever comes first. TDS commands this. Their suddenly maskless hypocrisy will be revealed and no one will notice.

Choose your tribe and relocate if necessary. It's going to get worse before it gets better.

CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Curious. People that don't want the cops called on them over a mask are "blowhards?" That's an odd usage of the term. I've never seen it before.

-3
Ninjavideo -3 points ago +2 / -5

I think it’s more transmissible than the common cold. We don’t see ICUs in a region coming overwhelmed due to the common cold. This is a hallmark of COVID seen in all epicentres where it was out of control.

I think Florida did a great job of showing without a lockdown the virus could be managed but I dunno I know there’s a lot of people in the middle who will look at the damage that covid has done to the country, look at pedo joes claim he could’ve handled it better then look at how trudope has kept numbers low in Canada and assume Biden would’ve done the same in the USA.

1
MatthiasBlack 1 point ago +1 / -0

How is the mask functionally different from covering your mouth. Why do we need to wear a muzzle that effectively turns into a petri dish after you cough or sneeze into it when you can cough or sneeze into your elbow as we have done for decades if not centuries? Your logic might be sound if there weren't an obvious, culturally ubiquitous, and scientifically proven alternative that DOESN'T have all of the shitty side effects of a mask.

19
STEVE_HUFFMANS_BULL 19 points ago +19 / -0

If everyone had your perspective no one would wear a mask

I fail to see the issue. Remember, the excuse for the lockdown starting was to slow the spread and determine what treatments could work, not to eradicate disease entirely. Masks are marginally effective, at best, and we know HCQ+zinc is effective, so it’s beyond time we open up

-15
Ninjavideo -15 points ago +1 / -16

How is determining that masks are effective not a successful mitigation strategy?

Y’all gonna get Xiden elected so keep doing what y’all are doing

9
STEVE_HUFFMANS_BULL 9 points ago +9 / -0

determining that masks are effective

We’ve done this? Please try to find anything from before February 2020 that said people who aren’t (a) healthcare professionals and (b) interacting with symptomatic patients should wear masks

The better option is to tell your governor etc to stop being an omnicidal faggot and let people take HCQ over the counter

-4
Ninjavideo -4 points ago +2 / -6

So what does HCQ do? decrease the death rate by half? How is that at all an effective mechanism to derail the virus

Combining HCQ with a mask mandate (if the mask mandate is proven to be effective) is the course of action Trump should take because Xiden will force it down our throats.

4
cusp-of-carabelli 4 points ago +4 / -0

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will let it pass over me and through me. And when it has passed I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where it has gone, there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Ninjavideo -6 points ago +1 / -7

Last I checked no one is holding large gatherings (outside of George floyds funeral) of any kind so I agree fear is the killer and the only way to fight fear is by containing the virus. Get the economy back up to 💯

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

"Containing the virus" FAILED. You are worshiping a mythological beast. You will not find that unicorn.

Meanwhile while I was working Saturday, (yay!) a Trump rally was held near here. Without Trump, lol. I'll try to find details on how large that gathering was.

Canada has controlled it so far but now they’ll be opening up the economy back again so we’ll see how they react

Hoaxrona is just an exaggerated flu and more people die to car accidents than to the virus. Even if it's real (if George Soros managed to craft a good enough virus in his China laboratories), why try to prevent it? Should we forbid all cars and close down all roads because of car crashes?

-8
Ninjavideo -8 points ago +1 / -9

Ummm 1% death rate and crazy amount of transmissibility - that’s not nothing. People cannot good large scale gatherings so spreading misinformation (like you’re doing) does nothing for anyone.

See my post history and the animal study as well as the Taiwan references for links.

9
myswedishfriend 9 points ago +9 / -0

You mean .4% death rate, per the CDC.

If you're under 65 it's the same as the flu in terms of risk. If you're under 45 it's less risky than the flu.

1
FormerGraveheart 1 point ago +2 / -1

Even that is far higher than actual. Take into account all the deaths falsely attributed to it.

-7
Ninjavideo -7 points ago +1 / -8

So don’t mention the transmissibility factor... that’s like talking about Biden and not mentioning China.

Talking about COVID without acknowledging the transmissibility makes you fake news

10
Kharn 10 points ago +10 / -0

How does "it's not to keep you from getting infected, it's to keep you from infecting people" even work? Either it's a filter or it isn't.

-7
Ninjavideo -7 points ago +1 / -8

Umm if I have the virus and I’m in the incubation period, it’s suspected that’s when viral load is highest, meaning infection is then highest.

You can transmit the virus by talking, coughing to sneezing. Pretty simple to understand you put up a barrier and less of the virus transmits.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

There is NO evidence that before you develop symptoms you have your highest viral load. That doesn't begin to correspond to any data.

Where do you get your disinformation?

1
Ninjavideo 1 point ago +1 / -0

I read something before but seems like this link negates what I said also:

If they're that worried they should lock themselves in isolation and hopefully off themselves once they go mad.

3
CuomoisaMassMurderer 3 points ago +3 / -0

Some idiots are spreading an admittedly cute graphic claiming that 1.5% chance of transmission if both people wear masks, with 70% if only one mask is worn and not by the sick person.

SO:

no mention of how long these two people were in contact, or what proximity.

no mention of what type of mask, while the best studies show that respirators work better than medical masks, and cloth masks are worse yet.

So we have to prove to their satisfaction that the claim is BOGUS. While simultaneously admitting that if masks were really that effective, of course we'd be on board. That is one heckuva claim, and of course the burden of proof is on the one making the positive claim. Meanwhile my Governor has the audacity to claim he's "following the data" with his mask mandate. He is not!

21
CnnWillBlackmailYou 21 points ago +21 / -0

That's almost literally what this mask thing is partially about (mostly it's about using a visual cue to keep the sheep frightened). But partially, it's the question of how to identify dissenters? If you can't get THEM to wear the star, then put the star on everyone you CAN control, and now you can identify those you can't.

Everything the left has said is projection for this crisis. People in cages? Here.

Trump is a fascist/dictator? Dictatorial mask and stay at home.

Trump is a mafia boss? They're playing down and pretending antifa doesn't exist is exactly what Italian rights groups did to defend the mafia.

Trump is anti science? Scientifically, Masks don't work but they're mandatory still in many states.

Republican CONSPIRACY THEORISTS? They've convinced themselves the virus is Trumps fault, and still misquote his hoax comment.

Illegal Russian (foreign) puppet? Theyre all CHINESE agents. And refuse to disavow antifa which CCP is paying agitants to inflame a destabilizing race war.

Every claim they made suddenly they do. Fuck the left. Fuck the dems Edits: this was typed on my phone. I went back in on PC and cleaned a lot of it up

How many States are masks mandatory in now? 28, per my google-fu. Since my State was the last with a D Governor to require it, and some R Governors require it, I'm thinking we've got a good majority of R Governors: 27.

Just checking my sanity, it's not something to take for granted anymore
