My SIL lives just outside of Boston and she's a Trump supporter through and through. Granted, she's not IN Boston so you're probably right. That's how it works with states, though. You have one or two big cities that are liberal shit holes while the rest of the state is based af.

I went into the ocean in August on a beach at Block Island, which is just off Rhode Island (so south of the Boston area by 60 miles or so) and HOLY SHIT was the water cold. I don't see how people can swim in the ocean there in New England.
Most of the young people in Boston are transplant college students, since there are about a thousand colleges in the city (I went there for school). That's why there are so many smug assholes there. The actual born-and-raised Boston folks are assholes in a much more endearing fashion.
Same Democrats here in Oregon. They absolutely love the "new normal". They called for martial law during the lockdown and want quarantine enforced at gunpoint.

Come up to the Pacific Northwest, fren... if you don't get hypothermia within 3 minutes of swimming, you're not in the water.
