How is the mask functionally different from covering your mouth. Why do we need to wear a muzzle that effectively turns into a petri dish after you cough or sneeze into it when you can cough or sneeze into your elbow as we have done for decades if not centuries? Your logic might be sound if there weren't an obvious, culturally ubiquitous, and scientifically proven alternative that DOESN'T have all of the shitty side effects of a mask.
