Not sure. Height is poiygenic. Recent studies indicate that height is probably more a combination of parents and grandparents. They still don't really know for certain.
Well me and husband are average height but 2nd daughter is wayy taller - looks like genetic throwback to paternal great grandad who was very tall and slim
