I'm hearing from people with family in NZ that they are trying to get their relatives out and the government is making it complicated.
We are going to have NZ refugees here soon.

From what I can tell it's been going on for years. Their economy is terrible due to most of the country being uninhabitable and their tourist destinations being just generally inferior (who wants to go on an 18hr flight just to see an opera house and a bunch of depressed koalas and kangaroos?). In addition actually living there can be a massive burden due to their internet being inferior even to the canadian kind (if I remember right their "highs" are like 2mbps) and the sheer amount of restrictions placed on immigrants.

Something you have to remember about NZ and AUS is that we do not have the same rights as you guys in the US.
We don't have the right to free speech, we don't have the right to bear arms.
We are more or less at the mercy of the government, now so far... our Governments have not turned tyrannical BUT we do not have weapons to defend ourselves if it does.
Similar to Trumps win in 2016, here in Australia an equivalent 'conservative Christian' won the vote to be the PM, in complete opposition to the media and the polls. However NZ was not so lucky.
Unfortunately that lockdown is the result of the State Premier not the country PM. The Victoria State Premier is an absolute commie faggot who supported the BLM Protests during the lockdowns which led to a massive surge of COVID and led to the insane lockdowns we see today.
However, as citizens, if the government decides to lock us all in houses we have no say. We cannot fight back against tyranny, we have no recourse.
