After 2 weeks of misery and 2 worthless ER visits, she found a Dr. who would prescribe it to her (in TX). It took 4 days for her to start feeling better.
Also, her teens were in the house the whole time and none of them caught it.
I’m not sure exactly which Dr. it was, but it was one of the American Frontline Doctors (the ones who spoke in DC). She contacted their Houston office, they asked for her PCP and sent the prescription to her pharmacy. Not sure what they charged, but she’s 100% better!
But the thing isn't killing people, it's actually pretty mild. Loss of smell lingers, and symptoms can vary but it isn't deadly unless a person has some issues already.
