I've been a fan of Abbot for years, always thought he handled crisis well, but his covid response has been dismal. I am pissed that he hasn't stood up for our liberties and economies in all this nonsense, like other great governors in South Dakota or Georgia. I really don't want to vote for him again now too.

Has Abbott made any comments regarding the Austin City Council’s plan on defunding the APD?
Yes, he has denounced it and said that State Troopers will fill in to police Austin for now.
