The Post Office is raising their rates temporarily right before the election. I'm serious. Oct 18th - December 27th, the rates for packages are going up.
I have seen a few lefties saying they will go out and just buy a ton of stamps to “save the post office.“ A few extra books of stamps is not going to help you do anything useful. The post office needs a complete restructuring to compete and stay relevant in this decade when most people pay 99% of their bills online And only rarely send items via US mail such as birthday cards or the occasional letter

These people are welcome to buy rolls of stamps theyll never use each quarter and effectively pay taxes to support the USPS but the drive to buy a bunch of crap they're not gona use is just stupid
Maybe the post office should consider the services that are needed in 2020 amd beyond. Mailing letters is not a service people use. It's convenient to spend 50 cents o a basic letter to go across the county but in 2020 it's not really necessary.
