For some reason it's racist when you're voting but not when you're buying alcohol or cigarettes, driving a car, renting a house/apartment, cashing a check, buying a firearm, applying for any sort of state or federal license/permit, or any of the other hundreds of things Americans of all races do every day which require a valid photo ID.
