I don't get this whole vengeance against places that went in with the mob. I understand from an ideological viewpoint but in reality it doesn't quite check out.

If I were to boycott (like all those leftists do) every company that sent out some meaningless tweet to support black lives then I would remove every potential employer, every potential clothing brand, every potential restaurant from myself. It's not sustainable and it's just finding reasons to be upset. And at the end of the day it's some tweet I never would have known about if tdw didn't make some issue out of it.

Maybe because in a liberal state I have to have a different avenue of attack compared to y'all in conservative states.

Just throwing my two cents out there, and if you feel the need to downvote, make sure you write a reply too, this place is for sharing our thoughts and understanding our different povs, not seeing who can shout the loudest like on deditt.

Wait, did he really say we should be fighting for BLM? I only watched clips. I saw him say we should have repentant hearts and shine people's shoes if they needed it (no mention of race....). Just seemed like a general message to love everyone and be good Christians. Actually shining Lecrae's shoes was a little odd, but oh well. Im not about to go to taco hell over it lol

I did NOT hear him say to repent for racism because we are white. As humans we all have something to repent for, and I don't think this was intended to apply specifically to that (unless it needed to). Seemed more vague to me like this is getting blown of proportion. Perhaps I am missing some more context.

it's a WIN WIN

WE LIKE WINNING!

Local places are 100% the way to go.

But I'd never know about what the CEO said about white privilege or anything if it wasn't for some loud voices here, just like I'd never know what the CEO of like Home Depot or something has said if it weren't for the woke leftists. And that's why I like limiting my social feed as much as possible lol

I try to avoid places that have taken policy positions that I don't agree with, but I'm not about to judge someone else for making a different decision.
