My wife's boss applied to PPP and ended up qualifying. She told her employees (she doesn't have very many) that because of this loan, she is not able to pay any overtime, but makes them work plenty of it. It's been this way since she got the loan, and honestly she didn't even need the loan. Business is just as good if not better than normal (realtor), so I think this is bullshit but, I can't find a difinitive answer anywhere.

If they are working OT she has to pay it. Anything over 40 hours in my State.
If you respect yourself or your time, the correct answer to being asked to work more for free should be along the lines of "I would like to help, but it wouldn't be fair to me or my family..."
Of she punches a clock its illegal.
She does, and is paid hourly.
