It's not about representation necessarily, it's about OVER representation. When only like 5% of the population identifies a certain way, you wouldn't expect to see such a massive amount of them in all forms of media. (Try to think of another minuscule population/characteristic/identity that gets the same amount of attention) The idea is that homosexuality used to not be widely accepted, but when plastered all over the media, people are conditioned to think it is normal.
The slope goes from gays not being accepted, to gays being tolerated, to gays being celebrated, to asking children if they feel gay, and now sexual orientation is for some reason being introduced to a children's cartoon. That's the slippery slope.

Both Noah's ark and the global flood were real events. Almost every civilization around the world has a global flood myth. Often, these flood stories tell of one family that built an ark and survived.....why is that?
Cause it’s a good story.
Because all people are descended from the inhabitants of the ark and they took the story with them as they spread out around the world post-Babel. Babel also explains why so many cultures around the world built ziggurats.

I would argue that the portrayal of Noah's Ark as some kids story, all happy-go-lucky and usually showing a small boat with a couple of animals, is how people who are against the Judeo-Christian religions ridicule and try to poke holes in the story. If children only get that far into the religion it sounds preposterous that a little boat could hold so many animals.
