That is a good one. The best of Moore's. His early films were better. I have done a marathon a few times but never saw the Timothy Dalton one. Some of the later Moore films were so forgettable and indistinct I sort of mash them together. Back when Craig was announced as the next bond I was so outraged that I signed an anti-Craig petition to EON to get someone else. Since then I've come to like Craig, though the last film was somewhat weak. I think I would rank them as Brosnan, Craig, then Moore. Connery is sort of an archetype in himself that can't be fairly compared. Go watch Dr. No after watching Goldeneye or Specter and you will think the film a joke. Connery carried the show. Without him there would be no franchise.

I think that every Bond actor went through an arc on which their early movies were great and their later movies were not-so-great. I must admit to not being a fan of the Craig era movies: I find them to be too Jason Bourne-ish and lacking in the style and charm that, to me, made Bond Bond.

Have you read the books? If not, then you must!

Read Mr. Moto, too.
