I dont think people need that much guidance spiritually tbh. A structural standpoint is all that's needed. People are obviously naturally in resonance with good vs bad. Even horrible people feel bad when they do bad things or make excuses to try to justify to themselves its all the human experience ( barring actual psychopaths ofc). That being said, I still think you may be conflating christ with Christian dogma but even then thats a pretty blurry line 10 translations and probably 100 false prophets later. I still think there is a lot of poignancy in there. There's a lot to be gathered from the past. I don't think it's the end all be all but.. i wouldn't call it disastrous. Used for evil? Definitely
