You simply cannot find ammo right now - it’s not just expensive, it’s been bought and stashed. There simply isn’t any. The rope is getting tighter and tighter and is about to snap, people know it (and by and large, those people are definitely not left supporters). I’m one of the LAST guys you’d expect to be carrying a pistol, trust me on that, and now I don’t leave my house for two seconds without conceal-carrying a .45 caliber loaded with hollow points. It doesn’t matter if I’m grabbing a coffee or going to work - my gun is always on me and ready now. I shoot for fun and have only needed plinking ammo in the past. Now I have several loaded AR mags in my case at all times - some regular and some green tipped. I’m to a point where I’m genuinely debating keeping an AR in my trunk with several green tip mags because I don’t want to find myself in a Portland or Austin situation where - once shit hits the fan (because I WILL defend myself and they may choose to continue escalation) - I feel like my pistol alone won’t ensure my safety or the safety of those being attacked.
I live in a city that has been pretty peaceful but there have been demonstrations where fags showed up trying to flex muscle (shotguns, AKs, etc.). I’m honestly waiting for a pin to drop and for some Garrett Foster level retard to fire off a round thinking they’re somehow all powerful. I have zero intentions of forfeiting my life to these people and I’m expecting the other side - the one that has more or less quietly taken these riots in stride - to come crashing down like a fucking hurricane once the final straw happens.
Part of me really thinks a second civil war is a possibility (slight, but existent) and that those on the right will want to Gen. Sherman places like Portland.
