She met with Biden. She was reported to be pissed, she unfollowed him on Twitter. Everyone assumed that ment he picked someone else

I'm calling it now. She was told the plan, she would be his VP pick because everyone thinks (knows) she's a cunt. They will turn Biden polls down (see CNN and this poll and others lately) DNC will hold their event this week and boot him out with some loop hole.

They will install Sanders as their primary.

Sanders will pick a VP people actually like.

Sanders will look good because Biden is a turd with a mental disorder.

All the anti Biden memes and Harris memes and ads are then a 'waste' of money

They won’t pick Bernie. It will be Crooked.

People really hate her. That's one thing that hasn't changed a bit since 2016.

People really really hate her, much more than when they really hated her in 2016. You know, the year Trump smashed her ass with the electoral landslide.

Sure Kamala is a whore, but Hillary is basically the anti-Christ.

ed_shaw 20 points ago +20 / -0

Do you still have that 2016 debate in the back of your mind? I do. It was this emotionally and intellectually challenged smarty pants little girl up against the master. If the debates are a job interview, it was a no-brainer.

President Trump being the fucking man hasn't changed. So that's two things.

Interesting idea to spark enthusiasm, but progressivism is terribly unpopular if you remove social media

44
CousinEddie 44 points ago +44 / -0

Progressives have had their asses stomped massively in every real world election.

You’re 100% correct it’s the party of social media. It’s a fake party living in a fake world.

Imagine if /pol and Alex Jones formed their own party. That would be the right wing equivalent of Progressives.

The /pol/ex/jones/party

Sounds like a plan!

Yep. Your average Twitter or Reddit user does not represent the average American.

They represent the average European though.

Indians hate her too. They've revoked her race card!

fapoo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Isn't she due to testify in the senate or something in September? Something like that, would be hard to campaign with that behind you.

TwoStar 10 points ago +10 / -0

Do it!

Bernie’s their guy to grift the college aged unemployed crowd and get them interested in politics. They’d never let him actually be the nominee.

I almost want Hillary to be the surprise convention pick just so H.A. Goodman creams his pants

He was such a threat to "moderate" dems that they picked Biden in a panic

10
Crockett 10 points ago +10 / -0

That's reasonable, but I still think Bernie would be a stronger threat. People like someone they feel they can trust, even if they disagree with their ideas. Feeling that a person is genuine and will honestly try to do what they say is a big deal. Frankly, the real question is whether Bernie still has his reputation for frankness after acting like the DNC's whipping boy for two elections.

13
HeIsVigo 13 points ago +13 / -0

I think the keyword here is "had". He had a big following but not bigger than the Democrat Establishment voters. Switching this late in the game will piss off plenty of voters on their side. Not to mention DNC insiders who absolutely chafe at sharing power with the far left upstarts.

10
shortermemory 10 points ago +10 / -0

'Had' is the keyword. I was super Bernie Bro, 100% true believer and I voted for GEOTUS last time around. Bernie had good draws for his rallies in the primaries before everyone figured out what a con man he was and bailed on the party. He had 5% of the excitement this time around that there was the first time. It was a shadow of what he had in 2016.

1
Wheredidiputit 1 point ago +1 / -0

It was a shadow of what he had in 2016.

Absolutely correct.

3
edxzxz 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yeah, he'd look great in the polls, but then his lazy ass crybaby supporters will repeat their lackluster 19% turnout like they did in the primaries. He's their stooge to bilk money out of the young and stupid.

At almost 80 and with a heart issue?

I'm not so sure about this?

While this would be a masterful plan no shot it happens. The reason the DNC fought so hard to stifle Bernie in the primaries was because they knew he would get slaughtered in the general. Americans, who aren't terminally online, do not want socialism. Which is a real problem for them because the entire new generation of democrats are self avowed socialists.

All of their rising stars are unelectable in the general election and even still the entire party is moving left to accommodate at a stunning pace. I really do think if we make it past this election without anything fucky happening the Democrats will be fucked for years to come. Average Americans are coming out of this lockdown terrified by how quickly big government dictated our lives. And the democrats are pushing for bigger and bigger government. I really do think Nancy Pelosi got handed the Democrat party for 4 years and fucked it for 40. Even with the media covering up for it we may have been witness to one fo the greatest political disasters of all time.

"Most people who get covid are asymptomatic, but still spread it" while potentially true, it's awfully convenient to say that when you want to shut down the entire country in an election year... Especially when we now know the tests are giving off false positives left and right.

Great points

NYC_4_Trump 30 points ago +30 / -0

I find it interesting that a few people turned Biden down. This has all the hallmarks of running out a known loser so you don't jeopardize more legit candidates for 2024.

11
ed_shaw 11 points ago +11 / -0

It is the Republican's turn, four more years. As a hoodlum, Biden solidifies the famous Washington culture of corruption, which crosses party liines and is bigger than we know.

They know this is a throwaway year for the presidency. They'll concentrate on (cheating for) the senate and house, because no one is paying attention to those. They can't beat Trump, but they can tie his hands.

Mondale/Ferraro all over again

Won’t happen.

People severely punish the old switcheroo in politics. Look at ‘72.

It’s Biden Kamala

7
thuggishruggishtrump 7 points ago +8 / -1

What happened in ‘72?

15
TrumpVictorious 15 points ago +15 / -0

McGovern switched out his VP during the general.

Result: Nixon 49 states, McGovern 1 state.

7
Vests123 7 points ago +8 / -1

I think there were many riots that Summer, also.

5
TehAgent 5 points ago +6 / -1

The 72 switcheroo, duh
