Fair enough and while I'm sure I'll enjoy this guy speaking... rich lawyer living in a mansion down a private drive doesn't really scream representative of the everyman to me. Then again our favorite billionaire does a great job but we probably need a more relatable everyman.
This is daylight, fearless crime, done with sheer numbers, sheer numbers of the oh-so-cute. Our young people.
So idealistic, is the imagery. "They are just our sweet kids addressing our moral rot, the mass killings that our bastard cops are inflicting all over, and the young are just fed up and want a better world," is the narrative.
On their way to a better world, they want to destroy the McCloskey's laboriously restored antiques.
Except the McCloskeys didn't see it that way. The McCloskeys saw, felt, and lived, that nothing stops a mob but an AR and a pistol.

I am impressed Mr. McCloskey is doing this, and I have high hopes that he and his wife will forge ahead in political roles. They are perfect for the job.
I generally agree, the more walking away from the dims the better. Not trying to take away from that aspect of the reliability.
Im mostly saying a very rich lawyer in a marble mansion down a private drive wearing expensive clothes with a seemingly pristine and kinda spendy AR-15 isn't very "everyman" in the sense its very much not a "Joe the Plumber" kind of general relatable to most people.
Ambassador to the Fancy/Limosounie Liberal class seems more apt to me. I hope they will continue and help the movement... just don't think we should try to force a guy like this into the "everyman" label.
