So, if anything, Dems suppressed their own base. Those people won’t vote by mail, and may sit this one out.
Alternatively, they know there is absentee voting (which is possibly more secure than voting in person.) They can use that if they’re that afraid of voting in person.
As someone else pointed out - this is huge leverage against the Dems.

Give every us citizen an ID; registered or not.
