yes this is all very true. so the million dollar question is: why aren't these people in prison? why are they allowed to terrorize the nation unchallenged?
This whole boondoggle has been very educational. I did not realize how persistent the power of Permanent Washington could be. I assumed a new incoming President was allowed to clean house and appoint his own administration officials, be that for good or bad. There are cases like the Supreme Court where those officials are in there for life, or until they retire. But I did not realize how many Worst 0bama-era holdovers would remain, screwing things up on behalf of the DNC/Soros alliance. (Example: Comey was appointed by Worst 0bama.)
Also: much like Supreme Court nominees, some positions are subject to congressional approval, so the best person for the job is not necessarily an option. The candidates must be filtered by "who the opposition will tolerate."
So- there are minions of the DNC in high places who can't be gotten rid of easily, and they are protecting their own interests. That's the short answer for why The Swamp is very slow to drain, and why there has been so much opposition to Building The Wall and other MAGA-related efforts.
Also: the mayors of Democrat-controlled "sanctuary cities" and governors of DNC-controlled states invoke "states rights" for their convenience, which allows them to encourage rioting and looting and other lawlessness without Federal intervention. Recently, we saw reeeeeee on their part when Federal Law Enforcement arrested scofflaws in Portland who were attempting to set fire to a Federal courthouse. Federal officials are allowed to defend their own property, something the Tolerant Left™ did not consider- having been given free rein to riot/loot and attack innocents otherwise.
