I live in a "mask required" state and despite the Gov. allowing you to eat out since May, I have only done so twice. Both times at different places you were treated by the staff like you are a walking plague, which very quickly ruined the mood with arrows all over the floor, a sign the table telling me what I must do or face action up to Trespass by Police. The 2nd place, once I got my card back I was reminded to put the mask on before leaving the booth.

I can cook at home and save money in the process, sorry restaurants, I don't need you.

Haha aside from masks, the arrows have to be the most stupid response to the virus. I agree at this point in many restaurants they’ve made the dining experience stressful and it completely negates the point of going out at all.

I once had a Karen give a a "excuse my, the arrows" comment at the local grocery store. I sand what the difference if I pass you facing you or from behind? She just readjusted her nasty reusable mask and went oh with her shipping, without using hand sanitizer.

The only thing they do is make Karen feel safe. I have yet to even hear of one study that says the do anything.

There are no studies saying they help because the studies conclusively find that the average cloth mask that people wear cannot filter out particles under 75 microns or some shit. A virus is .25 microns~

An analogy I saw was "it would be like building a chainlink fence to stop mosquitos"

You are correct on the masks in there in effectiveness as far as I’m concerned, but I was referring to the arrows. I have yet to hear one scientist see how if I pass someone at the grocery store facing them or from behind them it somehow prevents transmission of Covid.

I remember early on locally I had seen some Karen’s on Facebook posting about how I’ll should be one way to make it safer to shop, etc. And apparently the stores did it to make them feel good, but again, I have yet to see one bit of scientific evidence to justify it.

Oh yea the arrows are social conditioning. Follow the rules or get ostracized

In Ohio it’s county specific. Shitty liberal areas are full of people acting like nazis. In red areas most people don’t give af. I’ve gone to several restaurants and never wear mask “to be seated.” Never wear it to stores either.

I wouldn’t wear it in a liberal area either. Fuck em.

Beautiful reply. Walt Disney was a big fan of Adolfs so at least he’d be proud in whatever grave he’s in

You do know that Walt Disney made pro-America propaganda cartoons during WWII, don't you?

4
I_Used_to_be_me 4 points ago +4 / -0

and not even just cartoons. He was behind a lot of the news reels run before movies, too. Then it continued after WWII, when he used to run [forget the name of TV show] where Von Braun would explain NASA's newest technologies and how we were going to get to the moon, etc

Walt Disney also testified before congress to express his concerns about communist infiltration of the entertainment industry, as did John Wayne and Ronald Reagan.

3
I_Used_to_be_me 3 points ago +3 / -0

Oh wow, I knew John Wayne was vocal about it (and obviously Reagan) but didn't know Walt was part of it. I've been saying it for a while (since I was in a history program, even before Trump ran for office): McCarthy was right

2
CisSiberianOrchestra 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep. John Wayne, Walt Disney, and Ronald Reagan were probably the three most vocal anti-communists in Hollywood back in the 50s and 60s.

3
vinnychase 3 points ago +3 / -0

Walt was an anti-commie pro-American. So after he died (((they))) took over his company and turned it into the propaganda machine you see today. The ultimate "fuck you" move.

1
CisSiberianOrchestra 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah, Walt would definitely be spinning in his grave if he saw what the company he founded has become.

4
TrumpHomo83 4 points ago +5 / -1

Isnt the joke that Walt was antisemitic?

3
CisSiberianOrchestra 3 points ago +3 / -0

The reason that claim exists is because Walt often had heated confrontations with union leaders, most of whom were Jews.

2
Scroon 2 points ago +2 / -0

You know, whatever Walt's deal was -- I'm not entirely sure myself -- all that really matters is that Disney as it exists now is an utter abomination and is probably one of the heads of the Beast.

He also had himself frozen after death, and was a prolific pedophile. Are we doing the whole biography of this guy?

I live up the road from there. Went to Sea world for the 4th with a lady friend. The mask nazis were in full force. Even the dolphin trainers had them on...

Let that sink in.

It was fucking weird.

My friend took her visiting daughter there for something to do. She had a buff, which was not good enough. Made to buy their Disney-approved mask. She said she thought she would pass out with the heat and being unable to breathe. Said they felt like they were in Nazi Germany. Went to Ginnie Springs the next day. No masks. Just people having a great time. Forget Disney.

had family from out west wanting to come in once disney re-opened here in FL. wanted to stay with us, its fine, we have that all the time.

Told them sure, but I recommend not doing disney right now. their kids are young and I thought that their first impression of disney world should be a positive one. Maybe do disney next year. they've since come and gone, never did orlando tourist stuff.

We took them to all the different springs. Kayaked them on the weeki wachi run, kids saw 2 manatees up close. got to swim in the springs. I took them out on my boat in the Gulf. they caught fish, saw the dolphins riding our bow coming home and jumping/riding our stern wake. We took them to the gun range, older one shoot skeet with us. Had cookouts on the sand bars, shot off some fireworks. Took them down to everglades city (old florida town). Basically never saw a tourist park in the 7 days they stayed with us. They can't wait to visit again. Maybe disney and the rest of the parks will have their heads out of their asses by then.

You've given them a better vacation than any disney park right there fren.

To be fair, it had a weird "surveillance state" vibe when my friends and I went in January 2018 (well, to disney world in FL). They had dogs when you enter, and they also had eye scanners to get in. Mine would never work, and they'd start taking pictures of me and running fingerprints.... just to get into a theme park.

Then, they knew where we were the entire time. We'd be walking around, and there'd be random signs saying things like "Welcome [my name, friend 1, 2 and 3's name.") Same when we were on rides, they'd have personalized messages and whatnot. The sniffer dogs, thankfully for us, are not sniffing for anything except explosives, which is fair -- but it was still creepy on a number of levels.

Anyone who gives money to Disney is an active participant in promoting pedophilia.

Bedminster 3 points ago +3 / -0

If you got to Disney World you deserve everything you get.

3
Cloudy_mood 3 points ago +3 / -0

Maybe they could put some of those police officers and police dogs IN PORTLAND WHERE WE ACTUALLY FUCKING NEED THEM!!!!!!?!

JohnWickParabellum 2 points ago +3 / -1

Once they killed Star Wars, Disney was cancelled by me and mine. They can rot in hell.

derek17005 2 points ago +2 / -0

I honestly don't know why anyone would want to visit anything Disney, They are openly against us, are full of child predators, and are destroying everything Walt stood for. They're an evil empire that is only empowered by those of us that are against them yet continue to buy their crap and visit their overpriced parks.
