The militia considers itself "the last line of defense against a tyrannical government." It's not the federal government imposing tyranny. Militias haven't removed Governors under citizen's arrest so don't count on them doing anything at all. They're prepared for what's happened before over the last 100 years, not what's happening now. If you could make some local allies it would be worth the effort.
