You are the only person I've seen that realizes this. Slippery slope fallacy stops at "Will happen." It is not a counter to "could happen" or even "Is likely to happen." But internet understanding of the fallacies is almost as bad as if people didn't know them at all. No one uses any of them correctly and no one that I've witnessed actually understands logic.
